Do you know what diet is? You might think that this is a very ridiculous question to ask anybody. Even if it is asked you will answer in a sentence the food which we have is called as Diet.

Well that’s true but it’s not the correct answers for my question. Diet is the amount of the food taken by a person or other organism. In general sense we can say that the quantity of 5he food that a person intakes is known as diet. Usually when we discuss about diet we come across the term dietary habits. Dietary habits are the habitual resolutions that a person or society makes when choosing what kinds of foods to eat.

Diet of every person and every society are vivid from one another. Whatever may be the diet of a person it should be just proper enough to give the person the RDA (Recommended Dietary Allowances). A proper diet consists of the nutrients such as vitamins, minerals, carbohydrates, fats, proteins, etc.


Even though humans are omnivores, every culture holds some food inclinations and some food prohibitions. The Dietary choices of any Individual may be more or less healthy. Appropriate nutrition for anybody a balanced diet which should consists of minerals, vitamins, and fuel in the form of carbohydrates, fats, and proteins. Dietary habits play a major role in the health and transience of all humans. 

Dietary options can also define cultures and play a role in religion.But nowadays it has become quite difficult to get food which consists of the above stated nutrients. Even if we get such food it doesn’t fulfill the criteria for a balanced diet.

 So people nowadays have begun to take dietary supplements along with usual diet. Dietary supplements include dietary products both natural and chemical such as diet pills, low carb diet, etc. A more detailed discussion has been made in the next section.

The paper is being published online in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences."While a number of new drugs that inhibit new blood vessel growth are now available in the clinics, no one so far has been cured with available anti-angiogenic agents," said Professor Martin Friedlander, a Scripps Research scientist and retina specialist at Scripps Clinic who led the study. 


Lawmakers Plan To Reintroduce Legislation That Would Allow Purchase Of Prescription Drugs From FDA-Approved Facilities In Other Countries 


A bipartisan group of lawmakers on Wednesday introduced a prescription drug reimportation bill with "high hopes for success, given the new congressional leadership and political climate on Capitol Hill," CongressDaily reports. The legislation -- sponsored by Sens. Byron Dorgan (D-N.D.) and Olympia Snowe (R-Maine) and Reps. Rahm Emanuel (D-Ill.) and Jo Ann Emerson (R-Mo)
